While not impossible, I don’t think this represents any form of evidence. You also have a Vive headset, Vive controllers, and Vive base stations. The reason you’d specify “headset” in the product name is that it’s not a complete system. People need to be aware that they’re buying the headset only, and need to own or buy the base stations etc. separately.

anything that in US store is 100$ in EU is 100E , even if you buy it from Amazon, for example. Things in US are much cheaper, and importing them here you need to pay transport, import tax, VAT, etc..
the differences in "other costs" cover about the conversion rate differences, so you can just take the currency sign and change it, for comparisons

We have no information at all, it's been total dead radio silence. So just a guess based on the price appearing on Argos, the hint that they're slashing prices on the Vive Pro, and the fact that they just reported their 5th straight quarterly loss indicates they need to move soon.
