there is a lot of stuff similar to this out there, I used them at my old apartment they are not bad. I know a lot of places don't approve of using tape to hang stuff, if that is the case just put a nail on the wall and hang it like you would with a picture frame
If you are looking for a bulb shape, Look into the As Seen On TV market, the Insta-Bulb or SickUP Bulb Might be a good starting point. Already battery powered, and has the shape of a light bulb.
