Two options:

Deer Netting is cheap and light. The deer can't see it, try to walk in, and meet resistance so they go away. This worked for me for about 6 months with a garden in a high deer area. It's still up 2 years later, but I got it caught in a few branches and tore the hell out of it.
Deer Fencing is much stronger and works by the same concept: deer don't see it, hit it, and can't figure out what's up so they go away. Price is more, but it's much more durable.

If you did it with deer fencing (fancy kind or inexpensive kind) you could do this same thing and it would be invisible.
