I picked up a halfway (I think) decent 7 speed from the thrift store, I picked up this Voilamart kit and this battery. Put it all together, got up to 30mph, scared the crap out of myself, bought this helmet and I'm loving every mile of it.
The motor may die one day. But it was $220 for the kit. As long as the battery isn't stolen, I could replace the whole thing for like $300? THat's real peace of mind when I park it.

Apologies for the crappy picture. I have a 48v 15AH Joyisi battery that I bought recently for my first ebike build. I would like to purchase this Luna advanced charger since I would like to have more control over the charge time and max charge. Unfortunately, my battery comes with an unconventional connection, which appears to be a 10mm RCA-type plug.
I've looked online for a male RCA connector with wire terminals, and the only ones I've been able to find are these. I'm not sure if they are rated for power, however, as they seem more geared to speaker wires.
