Been using it for a few weeks, mainly to watch shows in bed. It's... not ideal.
The whole thing tends to want to lean over. And I don't think it would work with a case (unless it was a very thin case).
For those looking for a similar (more versatile but less pretty) stand, I've been eyeing the iKross 2-in-1 Kitchen Wall / Counter Top Desktop Mount Stand. Other pros: a few bucks less than the iPad stand, and ships to US.
I'll be getting one soon, and I'll post about it when I do.
