There's this product called "super coffee" I like, but I don't like it anywhere near enough to pay $3/bottle with any regularity. Anyone have a recipe for something similar?
The ingredients are just coffee, whey protein concentrate, MCT oil, potassium phosphate, and gellan gum - and for the first 3 I know nearly the exact ratios from the label. I'm guessing potassium phosphate prevents the MCT oil from separating out and gellan gum makes it taste smoother. I could just mad scientist it out but I'm hoping someone already did that. I also don't understand if there's a reason they used whey concentrate vs isolate other than cost. Milk frother to mix? Blender?
Postface disclaimer: I know MCT oil is unnecessary for keto and is a marketing gimmick, and I know drinking calories is typically unadvised for weight loss which I am doing. I just really like the taste and am workshoping a new meal plan for a change and this addition works for me personally.
