I actually remember thinking about this quite a lot during the episode, at first I was like lol that is kinda shitty. But then again, its damn near perfect and I bet its light as hell and doesn't have any kind of heat waste etc. It damn near fills an entire office with light, would you ever bother inventing anything better?
Edit: then I saw this and felt stupid.
edit 2: Also lets be honest, this far in the future flashlights won't really exist because smart phones will have much better flashlights right?
