You wanna get the one with the pockets to carry the accessories. It comes in Medium (for the Wave, Charge, Rebar, Crunch, Wingman/Sidekick/Rev, and Skeletool) and Large (for the Surge, ST300, Signal, and I think the MUT fits too.)

Here it is directly from Leatherman.
From Amazon, the medium
And the large

Here’s the bitkit in the inside pocket of my Medium sheath
The extender goes in the smaller of the loops on the outside. I don’t have the extender with me right now but here’s the pocket clip as an analog.

It's not what I currently carry, but I've been considering a Leatherman (large) Nylon Sheath with the extra pockets. It's about as large as I think I'd be comfortable carrying.

My Leatherman would go in the main slot, but in the back slot where Leatherman Bit Holders are intended to go I would put a Victorinox Swisstool L-Wrench with bit holder as a separate bit driving tool. On one side loop I plan to keep a flashlight (still picking which one) and on the other side a pen (bolt action with space pen refill maybe? Definetly something without a cap).

The thing of it is, I got this Leatherman Free P2 with a clip (my last multi-tool didn't have a clip), and it fits rather nicely in the watch pocket of my jeans, so I've decided to hold off and see if I actually miss having those bit drivers. In the mean time I'm looking at AAA pocket flashlight and Fisher Telescoping Pen that would fit in pockets too. Right now I'm kind of heading towards not having a sheath or pouch and that's new for me.

I have a Leatherman Surge myself and initially thought the same until I started using the sheath that came with it. It’s a right proper treat to have since I just slip it on my belt in the morning and also the side elastic is the perfect size for a pen flashlight.

This is the one that I got. Official Leatherman. Snap is better that the Velcro ones. Fits Wave and both bit kits. Side loops hold both the bit extender and a flashlight (Olight i3T or microstream).
