You can buy a pound of dill weed on Amazon for $15 [1]. Most herbs like dill are incredibly easy to grow and harvest so it doesn't make sense as to why the per pound price is so high. I know buying McCormick isn't the most economical but that seems especially high. Even the 2.75oz jar of McCormick Dill Weed on Amazon is only $11.43 ($66.56/lb) [2].
