First, wash the area with Hibiclens or the generic brand from cvs (I prefer the cvs brand bc I think it smells better). It is a game changer. Basically, it will kill germs for 24 hours, including the odor causing bacteria. Armpits, groin and feet.

Second, use a spray antiperspirant for hard to reach areas. Now, I hate to break it to you but the likelihood of finding an effective antiperspirant without aluminum is slim to none. I use degree, sometimes dove.

this stuff is the best thing that you can possibly buy if you have a problem with body odor. it kills the bacteria that make your feet and pits stink, and makes it really hard for them to repopulate. which means you stay stench-free. buy the 4oz bottle and use it very sparingly to wash your feet and armpits the night before or the morning of your drive to indio.

you can use it again in the showers while you're there if you're so inclined, but I've found that even just that initial application is enough to keep the funk at bay for the weekend (if I take a shower every day). seriously, it's worth its weight in gold to not have stinky feet and pits. especially in a tent. if you're that guy with the smelly feet, your friends will thank you for using this. just be very careful not to get it in your eyes! chlorhexidine gluconate is not something you want to get near a mucus membrane.

I already have a bottle at home, so if you like this please don't buy it for me! there must be another stinky coachellitor that could use it. hope this helps somebody :)
