There are several models of Coolpix. This one should be good, it's under $300.

This is a "bridge" camera. A better choice, if you can afford it or buy used, would be a DSLR, which has interchangeable lenses. The D3x00 series is well-regarded.

You'll need a tripod for it, and it's outdated, but it's a light, easy& intuitive, and relatively cheap camera for 1080p. It lasted about 3 years before the battery door broke and it was time for me to finally upgrade to a DLSR.
