The wedding band is a new addition as of Sep. 29. Nothing else has really changed in well over a year. I've finally found the gear I'm content with. Not something I thought was possible when I was getting into this hobby.

I keep mine in the shoulder strap pocket of my Exos. I also have it clipped with a locking carabiner (the smallest/#2 size of these) to one of the loops on the strap. That way there is absolutely no chance of me losing it or it falling off. I'm not in an area where there are dangerous river crossings and I very, very rarely leave my pack to hike somewhere without it so it's not an issue to me to not have it on my person.
