2 140mm fans on the front intake

1 140mm fan on the Noctua NH-C14S heatsink that I have cooling the Ryzen 1700x

Here's the 2000 rpm version, for what it's worth.

They shouldn't be too much louder at identical speeds. With PWM I can get my Industrial PPC Noctuas pretty darn quiet.

I just grabbed 3x of these:
Noctua SSO2 Bearing Fan Retail Cooling NF-A14 iPPC-2000 PWM https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KFCRMSG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Zd.pzbZMQQ0H2

I have room for 1 or 2 more but probably wont need. All intake on a PWM hub. Havent used yet but will report if requested.

Yep I see, no worries I'll find a way to mount it ;)
Is The rear 140mm fan ok or shall I swap it to something stronger ? ( https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-A14-iPPC-2000-PWM-Cooling/dp/B00KFCRMSG )
thanks.

Well you won't really see the fans they are in the front hidden away...

Noctua fans are that colour because they make people know it's a Noctua, they are good enough to make them a stupid colour intentionally (best fans available)

That said there IS a black version, the Industrial PPC version, but they are 2000rpm and PWM, so, you would need low noise adapters to cut their speed down and they need to reduce it to around 1200rpm to match the regular ones else they begin to become audible.

Make sure you don't get the 3000rpm ones they are for servers only waayyyy to loud.

ORRRRRR

you could forget about all that and get the slightly older and cheaper Redux NF P14 1200RPMs and forget about all that

http://www.amazon.com/Bearing-Cooling-NF-P14s-redux-1200-PWM/dp/B00KF7Q4WG/ref=pd_sim_147_10?ie=UTF8&dpID=51nTnaDXC%2BL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR124%2C160_&refRID=15KJ4QGAWZZA4DDFEC68

they are grey and the old model that used to be the cream colour but they were re released as a cheaper alternative with grey colours.

>and im a bit of PC noob, whats with wrong 8pcie lanes?

just very crap that it doesn't have it it's like having a car with 3 seats even if you don't use any except the drivers seat 99% of the time and in the future it could be an issue.

The B85 chip that it replaced had 16, the B150 only has 8, could limit gpu performance in the future
