WOW. I have a somewhat related experience that supports this theory and matches up with my own individual timeline.

Back in May 2015, I read this blog post which introduced me to Dr. William J. Walsh and his book Nutrient Power: Heal Your Biochemistry and Heal Your Brain. The extreme tl;dr is that some people have genetic vitamin deficiencies that require them to consume higher than recommended daily doses of certain vitamins in order to function properly. Having these vitamin deficiencies creates conditions that make it difficult for the body to detoxify all of the bad junk out of its system. For example, some vitamin deficiencies hinder the body's ability to remove copper, which leads to copper overload (quoting the linked blog post):

>Copper overload: The mineral copper plays an important role in the synthesis of neurotransmitters, especially norepinephrine. When there’s too much copper, there’s a deficiency of dopamine, a situation found in ADD, autism, bipolar disorder, and paranoid schizophrenia. With copper overload, there is also often a deficiency of a second mineral, zinc, and evidence of excessive oxidative stress, measured via urine as elevated levels of chemicals called pyrroles in the body.

About oxidative stress:

>Oxidative stress is essentially an imbalance between the production of destructive free radicals and the ability of the body to counteract/detoxify their harmful effects through neutralization by (as you’d guess) antioxidants. Walsh maintains that measuring levels of urinary pyrroles is the most effective means of testing for oxidative stress.

Dr. Walsh's solution is to identify the vitamin deficiencies causing these issues and fix them (usually by taking supplements). Within a week of reading that blog post, I read Dr. Walsh's book and switched up my vitamin regimen. I had already been taking supplements, but I upgraded some of them to the super high-quality expensive stuff and added a few new ones. I started feeling a lot better within two weeks.

What I didn't realize until right now is that this new, detoxifying vitamin regimen also correlates with my own spiritual and Mandela Effect experiences. I started using the new vitamins in late May 2015. In June 2015, I started focusing very heavily on the Law of Attraction and bringing large manifestations into my life. In early August 2015, Berenstein changed to Berenstain, and I was introduced to the term "Mandela Effect." Now I had been experiencing Mandela Effects and Law of Attraction stuff for over a decade, but it all kicked into high gear in the summer of 2015 in ways that went far beyond what I had previously experienced.

It's so obvious now. I had never connected the timeline with those new vitamins. Detoxing and getting rid of all the garbage in my system really did strengthen some spiritual abilities.

Thanks, itisadilemna. My mind is sufficiently blown.

P.S. Right before reading this thread, I made a large vitamin re-order. Synchronicity!

P.P.S. Seriously folks, read the blog post) and look into Dr. William J. Walsh's research. It may help you fix your ailments. It certainly worked for me.

Consider reading this book. Maybe read reviews first and see if something clicks with you. Psychosis is NEVER not related to body's biochemistry. Hope this helps.

Anyone who is interested in this and feels like the may have ADD should read two books: Healing ADD by Daniel Amen and Nutrient Power by William Walsh.

Both kinda say the same thing from different viewpoints... if you figure out what your specific type of ADD is through brain scans or reading Amen's book, or determine where your body is deficient through blood testing matched with basic behavioral analysis (Walsh's book) you can come up with a treatment plan that in many cases will eliminate the need for the drugs or lower your dose to where the side effects are eliminated. Both books are game changers and I believe will change the course of treatment for most psychological issues over the next 20 years.

tl;dr: common drugs can be very helpful very quickly for a lot of people but have side effects. long term treatment with supplements targeted to your specific biochemistry can reduce or eliminate the need for drugs and eliminate the side effects.
