From one glow-in-the-dark white girl to another... LIDOCAINE gel should be in your bag right next to your Neutrogena 100+ products. You still can't go back out and do more damage, but the damage doesn't HURT anymore.
Ocean Potion aloe with lidocaine. I've never found anything better (and I've tried a few when I find myself vacationing and sunburnt without it). If I put it on the night of a sunburn, I will wake up with a tan.

Ocean Potion will change your life. The lidocaine is incredible, the relief is immediate and cool from the small amount of menthol. It's got moisturizing bits too of course but I also take ibuprofen to reduce inflammation. Precaution #1 though. I use Neutrogena DryTouch SPF 100, expensive per fl oz, but it's not oily and smelly like other sunscreens. Had a similar spray, too. /r/hailcorporate or whatever but I'm white as a ghost living in the desert and haven't had to use my ocean potion in quite a while. Skin cancer sucks btw
It’s sincerely time for you to invest in an SPF shirt & big cans of broad spectrum sunscreen. That said, if you want a nice treat, take some Ocean Potion Ice, stick it in the fridge and put it on cold. Ibuprofen, cold showers, ice packs and arnica (under the tongue) will also help you heal faster with less pain.
