I rested the pod of the tie on the top support and it displayed nicely.
Any bass/guitar player is always happy to have another one of these. And they're only $10.

Not really, but it would be cool to be able to put my guitar somewhere besides my bed. :)
It fits nicely in a guitar stand - You can go to town if you lower it enough or look for a way to attach it to something else

I use this cable and this brand as well. For you at the moment there's really no reason to go with a $20 cable.
For picks I recommend buying a variety pack so you have a lot of picks that are different, find what you like. but I personally prefer the Dava Control.
As for stands, an On Stage stand is fine.
If you don't want to use a tuner pedal or clip on tuner you can download an app called PitchLab.
No idea about bags. I don't even use my bag.
A Guitar stand would be nice as it is currently sitting on a foldout chair
