With these, then everything will check out. And you will be able to sync both your case with halo, strip and motherboard.
If you don't want your current purchase to go to waste (or can't return it), you need to purchase this https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-Adapter-Specified-Control-PH-CB_RGB4P/dp/B01BZIBJAK/ and then you can connect HALO's and strips to your motherboard 4-pin 12V G R B headers but then, they wont sync with case, as case has to be connected separately to ADD_Header (5V data GND).

Keep in mind, there is an updated version of the fan frame. Look for Digital frame version uses addressable LEDs, whereas the previous version does not. Because the LEDs are addressable, you can customize each individual LED in the frame as opposed to just having the entire frame be one color. This allows you to do the beautiful rainbow wave effect seen in many videos, whereas with non-addressable LEDs it just cycles through colors.
Not only that, but I believe the Digital version also has more LEDs than the previous model, leading to a more consistent look. This is the one I have running in my case:
