I usually just put 6 piles around and one in the center. Never thought to make a large one and break off pieces.
Hmm. I wonder if a larger piece could be used as a pizza crust? Kind of like the base of a Mexican tostada? Usually, the crisps are malleable when they first come out, crisping up as they cool, so some people do shape them into taco shells before letting them crisp up.
(I meant tergikleen) I don't know. I haven't washed any records in a month because I'm afraid to. I suppose I will start again and wash only old records till I figure out. I could have swore I didn't have any haze on the first records I did. I haven't been doing this long.

It's a circular silicone microwave mat. It says 'Red 12 inch diameter microwave mat fits most turntables' ;)
It overlaps in to the outer troughts of my oil pan. Doesn't have a center hole. I think it must be bigger than 12" diameter. I haven't measured it yet. I want to get a bigger oil pan anyway so the outer edges get more contact with the paint pad. The thickness is about right ~1/16" (?). I haven't figured out what glue I should use to attach it after I find a bigger oil pan. If you know tell me.
I make this on a silicone microwave mat instead of the pie pan. It takes a minute to spread the mixture out thin ( I just use a fork to do this). Also, if I'm watching my calorie intake for the day I will sub 3 tablespoons of allwhites for the egg, and a tablespoon of pumpkin puree for the oil. Works great and cuts the calories down to about 120 calories, though it does add trace carbs (less then 1).
