I have a Razer Naga and the included software has a macro system that I mapped to one of the side buttons. I click the button and it spam right clicks every second and then I click it again and it stops.

Every character is alittle different but this is the basic breakdown. I use a Razer Naga with it's buttons set to numpad numbers, so I have access to 1-5 on the keyboard as a different set of buttons then the ones on the mouse.
Recently my hardware changed so I'm used WASD for movement but plan to eventually rebind to ESDF to movement so I have QWRTAGZXCVB as bindable ability buttons. The less I have to use shift the better IMHO.
I avoid using alt in fear of alt tabbing during combat, but don't forget ctrl is an options too.
I also have less often used buttons hidden on bar 6; sprint, microbinoculars, seeker droid, priority transport abilities, and some of those alternative channel rest items. Bar 5 is empty on this character but on a character that's multi-spec class like my guardian/jugg I have my switchable bar as my mouse's bar. Bar 1 remains my DPS buttons but I'll toggle over to bar 5 if I respec to tank which is laid out for tanking.

RDM needs level 50 to start. The only others are SAM (also 50), then MCH/DRK/AST (requiring you to get to the Heavensward expansion, so technically level 50+, but they start at lvl 30).

This is what mouse I use. I press keys 1-5 and have ctrl+ and shift+ modifiers. I don't know how limited your left hand is for use, but this might be a good option. Although I find razer mice shit but imho their wireless mice are the best on the market as they have no lagg.

But go check some out if you can find a place. Different brands have different approaches and you may find one you like or that at least guides your choices (there are non wireless ones like mine under $100).
