I use the bluetooth connection to stream music from my tablet and it works great for movies and games on the TV. It's plenty loud to fill my smallish living room. The only thing I wish it had that it doesn't is a headphone jack. I had to buy a wireless headphone set for my PS3 because of that.

I can't really say much about sound quality. I'm sure it doesn't sound as good as a real high-end system, but it's way more compact and costs less too. Really easy to install too since you can just sit it in front of your display.

Samsung HW-E450. I literally just ordered it, so I have no impressions or basis for comparison. AVS Forum has a section on sound bars that may be worth checking out for more info.
