They have some kind of woodchips inside that suck up all the smell and the moisture from your gloves.
Been kickboxing for 1 yr, and my gloves still smell like leather, that's it :)
The ones I got are not even any kind of name brand, just found them at the local boxing supply/gear store.
If you got expensive gloves, I honestly would not wipe them with any harsh chemicals.
And then just put the drumstick thing all the way in right after practice. And if you can lay it all in a place where there's some kind of breeze, that's best.
What's your urgency? I'd probably just wait for a pair of 12-16oz gloves to appear on MMA HQ, which is about once a week.

These are on like super clearance. Sanabul only retails through Amazon, just so you know.
Also, you should buy some wraps, unless you have them.
