Dry bags are relatively inexpensive and last longer than a zip lock bag. They pack down pretty small, if it starts raining or you go on a water ride you can throw your camera in it and throw it back in your bag.

I grind my grains the day before and store them in one of these dry sacks. I also have stopped slowly adding my grains to my mashtun when doughing in after switching from a metal spoon to a large whisk. The whisk breaks up clumps like a spoon can't and since I'm mixing less, I don't have to worry about undershooting my mash temp. A Brewbag makes for easy cleanup and disposal of grains in my mashtun. I'd always end up making a mess trying to dump my spent grains into my trashcan. Plus I don't Vorlauf with it, which saves time when batch sparging.
