Good stuff. This is very helpful. I got my Gerton top earlier today, so I plan on getting something set up soon. I'm actually going to try a screwless setup using vinyl bumpers between the Bekant legs and the Gerton. I feel like the Gerton is heavy enough it would stay in place. Ikea actually offers as an similar setup, using the Oddvald, which comes with its own vinyl bumpers. The trestle's are wider though, and offer more freedom for placement, so I don't know how well the weight is going to distribute on the Bekant legs, which are fixed width. We'll see. If that doesn't go well, I'm going to go your T-Nuts route. Thanks for sharing how you did it.

Amazon has some bumpers that should work.
