I recommend a Display Port to HDMI (Display Port is male, HDMI is female)
Plug the TV in the converter, and the Vive always direct to HDMI and you shouldn't have issues.

I have this adapter. My PC is old and so is my graphics card. It does not have HDMI out sadly.
