I started with leupold rings but ended up sending them back as they didn’t quite interface on the rail properly. Someone recommended Talley split rings which I went with, and am happy I did. VERY well made, and while the split design makes getting them on and tightened a little trickier, it guarantees the scope is centered perfectly above the receiver.

I’ll post up some photos in a sec along with an amazon link if it’s still in my history (I posted a full review on Amazon with photos). Talley recommends 20 in/lbs for the top screw and 30 in/lbs for the bottom. I recommend a Wheeler fat wrench torque driver to get proper torque. High rings for a CZ 455 leave about 8mm between the barrel and scope with a VX-1 3-9x40.

EDIT: Boom this is what you want. Not cheap but well worth it. If you look at the reviews, this is what a lot of folks run on the 455 platform:

Using Talley high scope rings.

They clear the bolt handle closely but comfortably. No issues cycling the action. Mounted easily, look good and seem to be of very high quality. The screws they come with are torx, but they do come with a wrench to fit.

These rings specifically fit the CZ dovetail mount, not a standard Weaver style mount. If your rifle isn't a CZ, you'll need a different style ring (though high rings would probably still fit best).
