The key is ready to turn, but the mechanism will not be activated until the powers in DC and New York think that it is necessary. That will be relatively soon and the event that will spark the level of unrest which will have the turnkey totalitarian state put into motion will be a severe financial crisis brought on by a cascading loss of confidence in the dollar. There is plenty of reason to expect that to happen soon, but I would most suggest reading James Rickards' new book The Death of Money: The Coming Collapse of the International Monetary System. When the dollar comes under attack from its bond holders the American economy is going to be hit much harder than it was in 2008 and the Fed will not be able to fix things by printing more dollars.

People are going to hit the streets again, but this time they will be more angry and probably more informed. They would be capable of overthrowing the elite-controlled American state, which is the WHY behind ubiquitous spying and a militarized national police force that answers to DC.
