The Battle of Blair Mountain was pretty wild too, they brought in the Army Air Corps to bomb striking miners, and as far as I know is barely taught in schools. I only know about it because I had a prof in undergrad many years ago, Lon Savage, who wrote an (excellent) book on it called Thunder in the Mountains, later used as a basis for the also-excellent movie Matewan.

I know some of the info for that video came from a book called Thunder in the Mountains. Its a book entirely about the coal wars of 1920-1921 and just a really good book.

You also have the Official Fire Report notice there is a part at the top of the second page missing. It also mentions "exploding small arms ammunition."

Lastly you have the Testimony of William Briggs stating that Capitol would " destroyed either by fire or a bomb explosion"
