Titalfall is literally $10 on amazon. I'm not getting it since I don't support the kind of crap they pulled with this game.

I would definitely recommend getting the game, especially since it's only ten bucks.

Watching this video makes me really sad that Titanfall gets panned every time it's mentioned.

Everything he was praising about the movement system Titanfall does and arguably does much better. Infantry weapons look slightly more interesting in COD, but are countered by the existence of Titans and their insane weaponry. Gameplay is always adrenaline inducing and makes you feel like a badass even when you're losing.

Titanfall's issues are a symptom of shitty matchmaking, a lack of player model customization that a lot of people really care about, and a small player base. The last one isn't as bad as people make it out to be, but really it came about because people were jilted that Titanfall wasn't the One Great Hope to kill COD.

I still think it's totally worth every gigabyte of the download, especially since Respawn keeps adding new and exciting content to the game which is helping their issues a lot.

If you want to pick it up, it's only $10 on Amazon right now. That or you can try-before-you-buy for 48hrs on Origin.

Get it at Amazon, it's $10, I'm in the same boat as you. Believe me the community size hasn't been an issue for me. I was able to find as many matches as I wanted in both Frontier and Hardpoint (similar to Battlefield's Conquest, control points until you have X number of score, win/lose, cycle map and repeat.)


The game is just fantastic. Your BF / Infantry skills will serve you and so will your "think outside the box" skills when your titan comes into play.

Note that this doesn't include the DLC but I've heard it can be harder to match-make on those maps. If you really want the full package then the Origin store has the DLC season pass for 17.99 until tomorrow (tuesday 11/4/14).

I'd say get titanfall if you must play something right now. If money is that tight wait for the first sale on CoD
