I have a bunch of led strips running on homebridge. I just bought generic led strips (rgbw and rgbww) and then bought a WiFi controller and power supply. Then I installed the magichome homebridge plugin. They work amazingly well. I even have fairy lights using one of those rgbw controllers (by just connecting line and neutral).

The controllers I use are:

Would something like this work <https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tomshine-Controller-DC5-28V-Activated-Changing/dp/B06Y584C6V/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1527749601&sr=8-3&keywords=RGB+LED+Controller>? At the end of the day, all I want it to do is very slowly cycle through a bunch of colours in a smooth way - with no jumpy/glitchy-ness.

thanks for your reply. So i think this is the device i'm looking for:

https://www.amazon.it/Tomshine-Controller-Regolatore-Luminosit%C3%A0-Controllo/dp/B06Y584C6V/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1519123535&sr=8-2&keywords=wifi+led+controller

the description says the output power is
5V ≦ 60W / 12V ≦ 144W / 24V ≦ 288W

so since i have 3 24v led of 150w each i'll have to buy 3 controller, right?

Can it work with white only strips?

Thanks

After you mentioned about the red channel maybe not being as bright. I actually tested that and you were correct. Red is about 70% as bright as green and blue. This might account for the bad colour blending.

Both controllers produce the same wrong colours so I am beginning to think it is the led strip.

This is the second controller. Tomshine Wifi LED Controller DC5-28V Mini RGB Smart Working with Alexa Android / IOS Mobile Phone App 16 Million Colors 20 Dynamic Modes Sound Activated Static Color Changing for LED Strip Light https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06Y584C6V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dUPXAbKMG1VM6

It works the same as the other and connects to the same app so it does seem strange both produce the wrong colours.

Can you recommend a good led strip to buy and I’ll purchase it to eradicate that as the issue.
