The guys who make the HD Retrovision cables did some testing on some inexpensive UL rated power supplies and suggested this one from Amazon, which you can add adapters to to use with tons of different consoles.

Everything I needed was less than $20 and it seems like a very reliable power supply.
I just ordered this power adapter along with the required pin/polarity adapters for SNES, Genesis model 1, and Genesis model 2. Thanks to HD Retrovision for the information here.
My question is about using it with the original NES: Do I need use a reverse polarity adapter or just plug it directly into the NES?
