Yes Bestine is a good brand to use for stickers on boxes like this(or any printed paperwork). Unfortunately since the stickers are torn up so much, it would be annoying to remove without the proper scraper. For something like this, I would recommend you buy un-du it comes with a built in scraper that also directs the solvent. If you read through the comments u/PhillyGreg linked to, it will tell you about other uses and a very high level explanation of how it works.

You can also watch these videos on un-du's website.

If you intend to remove stickers more frequently and/or work on electronics, then its worth getting the big can of bestine and buying a good plastic scraper. Also if you are in Europe then Bestine might be difficult to get. Un -du is easier to find. I think there is a listing on amazon uk.
EDIT: Looking at the top box there is already some artwork removed from the previous sticker. It is perfectly fine for Bestine or Un-Du to soak into here. It will not relax the fibers or discolor. It will evaporate in a few minutes and be totally fine.

Yesterday morning, I impulse bought the book The Love That Split the World by Emily Henry and the song Endless by The Rival.

Non-digitally, I ordered a bottle of Un-du adhesive remover. This stuff is what Goo Gone wanted to be. It removed tape and sticker residue without leaving that weird greasy shine.

You can tell I'm the coolest.

Heating the sticker with a hair dryer will loosen the adhesive and make it easier to peel off.

Un-Du also works great. Not sure how it would do on a porous surface like cardboard, but on plastic and coated paper it's awesome.

They said Goo Gone should be safe on the surface. If you don't want to take any chances on possibly damaging the surface, you can use un-du which is basically an Acid Free version of Goo Gone.

I'd like to add these recommendations:

The Un-Du adhesive remover is non-acidic and won't stain paper or damage box print, and the freezing spray will let you detach a lot of stickers in one piece, adhesive and all. Many of them can even be re-stuck when they thaw, making it possible to do stuff like transfer the occasional desirable sticker from one box to another, etc.
