We actually have one of those in our down stairs closet its kinda weird at first because I didn't notice that there was a pressure switch in the door jamb. So basically when I close the door it will turn off the light. When the door is open it will turn the light on.

I second this. I would use something like this motion sensor light where it will turn on and off by itself. I personally would prefer doing this over the Bluetooth one but it depends on what you’re going for.
