I use adapters with my old cables and they works fine.

I found what you're talking about finally, haha. That makes sense, and would be easy to implement on a DIY cable it seems. What I'm confused about is that it requires one end to be Micro-B and one end to be Micro-A. The cable that came with my HA-2SE is micro-B on both ends, which seems to violate the specification. With USB-C still being relatively new, it seems premade otg cables aren't out yet. I do see some adapters you could use temporarily, but obviously it's not as elegant and I'm not sure how well they adhere to USB-C specification.

Addendum: If you have a phone with a USB-C port, you will need a specific kind of USB OTG adapter. Other USB-C adapters won't work.
