I should probably know based of what you are saying, but I don't really. So when I have the following Powerbank and I bought a USB-C Cable i shouldn't charge my Switch with it? Or would it be fine?

https://www.amazon.de/Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh-Externer-Akku/dp/B00VJT3IUA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1487952704&sr=8-1&keywords=anker+powerbank+20100&language=en_GB

Edit: Now that I'm taking a closer look at the Cable I was going to order I don't even know if that fits to my powerbank.

Can anybody help a brother out? :'D

Just wondering, is this cable going to be okay? I can't find the omh resistance on the specs.

edit: nevermind, found this FAQ in the website, it should be okay then.

> Are your cables equipped with 56K Ohm resistors?

Anker makes the best cables I currently use this with my Pixel XL in my 2016 civic. Also the 1.5 is just the charge it puts out, it doesn't affect anything else. If you buy this cable and it doesn't work, it's most likely a setting on your phone that's messing with something.

For side quest.

This is the one that I use. I think they have a shorter one available as well. I'm a fan of Anker products. I do wish they offered a 10ft one of these though. I used a 10ft micro usb for my last phone at my bedside and loved it for that little bit of extra freedom it allowed me while charging. This chord though, works great although doesn't charge as quickly as the pure C chord, but I think that's the case with all USB-C to USB-A (I might be wrong)

I use this one:

For some reason the page says it doesn't fit a Pixel XL, but mine fits just fine and the cable works perfectly.

What about this cord?

When was this "Benson" thing confirmed by Nintendo or tech specialists?

Anker Powerline+ cable..

Seriously. The cables I had kept disconnecting. No idea why. People kept suggesting these cables so I tried it out and it worked like a charm. Again, no idea why, but it works.

On the dock when I'm in my room. Or with this and some of this

u/NinjaDaddo · 1 pointr/ElgatoGaming

I overlooked this tiny detail too, not all cables were created equally. Here's a link to the one I bought that was correctly spec'd as USB3 type C. Soon as I opened it I found how much thicker it was so more power delivery.

Nope, you got a dodgy cable. I had this problem so I got a new cable and it fixed

This one works great for me

u/PinkyHernia · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

That is quite odd. I haven't used the included A-C in my car as I decided to leave that at home for when I need to plug my phone into my computer. But I bought this Anker cable and it works great in my Civic. My only complaint is that the C end of the cable is quite snug to the port. This is good because the cable won't pop out on its own but it takes a little extra force to plug it in and unplug it.

I bought the 3ft Anker Powerline+ USB 3.0 to USB-C cable, quite nice a few dollars more than what OP posted but well worth it IMHO.

The 3 ft cable is $13.99 and the 6 ft cable is just a few dollars more at $15.99 for the Powerline+ cables.

There's also the regular PowerLine series of cables which are cheaper but work just as well (they're simply not braided as far as I can tell), I own a 1 ft Micro USB cable from this series and it's good too.

I'm using this USB plug and this cable to charge my Switch when I'm not at home.

If there's no power outlet where I'm going, I use this powerbank, which is a bit older and isn't sold anymore, but works nicely. Doesn't charge very fast, but if the Switch is on Standby, it's alright, considering that powerbank was very inexpensive.

Sound like your cable has developed a fault, a lose wire inside perhaps. Try another cable that is capable of fast charging to see.

edit: £6 for a new cable https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Anker-PowerLine-Durability-Devices-Including/dp/B01GN0M6NE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1523546339&sr=8-3&keywords=usb+c+fast+charge+cable

2019 Kia Sorrento, same issue...3 different pixel 2s and a pixel 3 didn't work trying multiple cables. Ordered the one below and they all now work.

Give this cable a try. I had a ton of disconnecting issues with a ton of different cables. This one finally fixed the issue

I'm sure you could trust one made by anker. I used their micro usb cable for over a year, jamming it into bags and bending it everywhere. Still works beautifully. Unfortunately their usb-c premium cable only comes in one color (red) and length (3 feet). I'm holding out for a 6 ft black version to roll out sometime.

God only knows what your problem is. Get yourself one of these and two of these and you're sorted

u/TFeyner · 0 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Looking to charge my switch on the go. I have an ANKER power bank and was thinking of getting this cable: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-PowerLine-Durability-Devices-Including/dp/B01GN0M6NE/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=usb-+c+to+usb+nintendo+switch&qid=1558469645&s=gateway&sr=8-3

I was wondering if using that combination would be safe for the switch cause I really don't want to brick it.
