I've never seen anything like it, but it is possible that some car stereos can detect USB on their aux port and switch from audio input to data interface. In theory.

Here it is on Amazon

Edit: It seems some USB headsets can use this adapter for an analog interface instead of digital. First I've heard of it.

Does it exist? Yes: https://www.amazon.com/Female-3-5mm-Audio-Charge-Cable/dp/B010ESHDR0

Will it work for what you want it for? Probably not, because if the headphones require power, it wouldn't transfer enough. But it's only a few bucks, so maybe worth a try if you have some particular reason to really want to hook this phone to that headset... Probably cheaper to buy a different headset, and more likely to work.

I feel ya, imho having a headset plugged into the console isn't a good option.
You'll need one of these. Make sure the 3.5mm jack has 3 stripes 1 for your mic, and the other two for the stereo headset.

I don't think so. The USB unit would need to communicate with the headset and I have never seen any that do. This thing seems to be what you are looking for, but it has two stars and most of the reviews straight out say it doesn't work. There are even people who give it 3 stars after stating it didn't work. You might find one you want to take a chance on if you dig around.

Your USB headset might also need some power that's provided by the USB. It won't get any from the 3.5mm jack.

Basically it would go like this

  1. disconnect your headset

  2. uninstall any related software

  3. go into device manager and uninstall any driver related to the headset

  4. disable windows online auto driver update

  5. Connect the headset, windows should auto detect basic sound device drivers for the headset (possible that it won't work right)

  6. test that your headset can playback sound and record in windows

  7. see what wildlands thinks about this haha

PS if you haven't switch to open mic and maxed mic sensitivity in game, I would recommend you do so for testing my original issues also bugged out my push to talk

sorry, I am not aware of a launch command to force USB audio recognition

If you feel like trying something Frankenstein-like, you could try combining these two adapters (good chance it would not work, but seems like hail mary type of situation):

I don't know the reason why you can't use the USB directly, but doing a quick search yields no result. It might not look elegant, but have you considered trying a female usb to single 3.5mm audio jack, and connecting that to a 3.5mm to dual 3.5mm stereo and mic splitter?

Headset to this

From the above to this

I have not tried this before so I can't guarantee it'll work.
