First, Izzy Swan is amazing and I want to make his folding barstool table SO badly. But alas, I live in a tiny apartment and don't have the space to make big projects like that.
Second, they make a specialized tool for ripping pallets that looks like a buck toothed, long handled, crow bar. But like you said, I'd need a stack of nice hardwood pallets to make buying that worth it.
