I personally went with this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00166DUSG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Only thing I hate about this desk is the keyboard pull out thing. It was definitely too low for my needs and felt awkward when using. Took it right out.

Here are some pictures of mine showing my setup. http://imgur.com/a/83rAt#8

I bought this one (I would strongly encourage you not to buy a glass desk considering you'll probably be moving a lot, if my experience is anything like yours, haha) after college.

I had this one during college.

If you are an engineering / CompSci / someone who does a lot of Physics and Calculus, I wood-glued a whiteboard to my desk. It was soooo nice for math and physics.

This one is shown on the guide for $279. I think it's a very good deal, especially for $90.

Not OP, but he posted [the desk] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00166DUSG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_OETVzbE78TJ4W) in another thread. Not too expensive at all.

u/Paulg287 · 2 pointsr/DIY_eJuice

I have no idea on the names. I got both on craigslist. $50 for the desk and $30 for the stand. Here are some Amazon links to very similar items with good prices.

I don't know the exact desk, but it's similar to the one I have which is a Walker Edison desk.
The only difference I see is that the legs are curved.

It's the Black Glass/Black Steel Walker Edison 3 Piece. Picked it up off of Amazon for ~$80. https://amzn.com/B00166DUSG

I bought a Walker Edison D51Z29 Soreno L-Shape Desk off Amazon for similar reasons. Low budget, used in bedroom/office space with very limited space, and needs to holds a PC tower w/ 2 monitors while keeping enough space for sketchbooks/work area on one side. I would highly recommend this one.

There might not be, it's likely that the PSU doesn't have a exhaust port on the bottom, and the PSU is inverted facing upwards towards the mobo. Also u/tomc that [desk](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00166DUSG?keywords=walker%20edison%20soreno%203-piece%20corner%20desk&qid=1452997075&ref=sr_1_1&sr=8-1) comes with a stand.

It looks like the price changes often. I bought it just a couple of weeks ago for $80. The LEDs did not come with the desk by the way.

u/xavierfox42 · 1 pointr/buildapc

Man, that looks pretty crazy. My condolences on the loss of the monitor. I actually have my rig on the desk too, so I'm especially worried about this.

Here's my desk:

Fortunately there aren't many reports of shattering in the reviews so I'm hoping as long as I don't modify it like you did or drop any heavy objects on it I should be ok.

I'm by no means a fitness nut, I just kind of decided that a change was in order, and stopped eating so poorly. Of course I say that as I'm eating pizza for breakfast, but whatever. What's life if you can't have pizza sometimes?!?!

It is. It was only $81 + free shipping too!! Thanks Amazon. If you're interested, it's this desk. It has great reviews, and is $30 cheaper than normal right now.

I got this one two years ago. It fits my three 27 inch monitors perfectly with room to spare. It also came with a small platform for my tower for carpeted floors.

My only complaint is you need a chair with shorter legs if you plan to use the slide out keyboard tray.

The Macbook Pro isn't my first choice, but I also develop for iDevices so I have to have one. Here are the links for everything in my station:

(they don't have my speakers anymore - it's a 5.1 kit that you can purchase at walmart for 80 bucks. I think it's the Z50?)

I'd say go for an L shaped desk.
Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Walker-Edison-3-Piece-Contemporary-Multi/dp/B00166DUSG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1421838270&sr=8-2&keywords=l+shaped+desk

I found that same desk about a year ago at Target for only 75$ and picked it up the next day.

I've also seen ppl just simply use centerfold/party table when they have alotta shit.

Oh hey, I have that same [desk] (https://www.amazon.com/Walker-Edison-3-Piece-Contemporary-Multi/dp/B00166DUSG/)

But with the clear glass.

u/PersonixBH · 1 pointr/shopformypc

Sorry! Was at the beach all day.

Without glass desk, black.

With glass, corner desk.

Second one might be too big, first might me too small.

I'm more of a person who's better at computer hardware and such, not desks. :P Ikea sure is great, though.

I personally have this desk: http://www.amazon.com/Walker-Edison-3-Piece-Contemporary-Multi/dp/B00166DUSG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1463969322&sr=8-1&keywords=glass+l+shape+desk It's held up great for years now. I have a 27" monitor and a 32" TV on it with plenty of room to spare.

u/melini · 1 pointr/buildapc

Tempered glass L-shaped desks will often sell for less than the wooden ones, and they're not that hard to move or clean. I got mine off Kijiji for $40 (very lucky deal!), and I love it - I have my two monitors on the left, tower on the floor, and school stuff sits on the right. Since the frame is metal, there's lots of space, too, so even my printer and recycling bin have spots.

Ninja edit: This is almost exactly the same as the one I have. Love it.

u/irbChad · 1 pointr/battlestations

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00166DUSG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_IHLIAbFFSWTR0 it's ok, didn't have much of a choice with the space I had. Not great for cable management, keyboard tray is way too small. Would personally recommend against it unless you're on a super tight budget, limited on space, or just want a compact glass desk. It gets the job done for me
