Unfortunately I can't, as I have them in print. It sounds like this study might be relevant... but I can't read it.

I'm sorry. I know it looks bad when someone says they have evidence but can't produce it. This is the book I use in my sociology of gender class, it contains excerpts from and references to a lot of studies about police involvement in rape cases. To paraphrase:

Ullman et all, 2007 talks about the stigma that rape victims face when they disclose what happened to them.

Caromgella 2009, Weiss 209 talk about how rape victims must show that they are "worthy" victims in order to be respected by the police. This includes reporting the assault promptly, showing emotional and physical trauma, and convincing authorities that they are not "responsible" for the crime.

Victims must show "respectable behavior" and are more likely to be held responsible for their own rape if they are voluntarily intoxicated or dressed "provocatively." (Whatley 2005, Gidycz, McNamara & Edwards 2006, Angelone, Mitchell, & Pilafova 2007.)

Claims of rape by some women, including prostitutes and drug addicts, are routinely dismissed (Zweig, Schlister, & Burt 2002, Page 2008). Claims of rape by men, especially gay men, are also routinely dismissed.

Although acquaintance rape is much more common than rape by a stranger (73% of rapes are acquaintance rapes - Truman 2011), women raped by an acquaintance are much less likely to report the crime (Neville & Pugh 1997, Sudderth 1998, Washington 2011).
