At work I started carrying a WorkPro mini utility knife, instead of my Kershaw Blur, because I really only used it for opening boxes and bags and the Blur weighed down my work pants to much. Put one of the ceramic Slice blades in it too, seems to hold it’s edge good for the kinds of things I’m cutting with it. I find once it’s worn in a bit I can usually just flick it open with my wrist. Added another one to my backpack for when I want something with a finer edge or smaller than my Victorinox SwissChamp. Still carry the Blur everywhere outside work for more general purpose cutting and because it’s a nice looking knife.

Yea, I just can not rationalize spending the money on some of the things that get posted here.
Hell, my "pocket prybar" I use at work is a regular pry bar that had a busted handle, so I shaved it down and welded the ring from an eye bolt to the end.
I haven't had any issues with the locking bar on my Screwpop, tho that's probably due to it isn't quite worn in yet.

For every day use, I picked up these Workpro utility knives
They're a little stiff to open, but work well and can give a little more leverage

Nope, this little guy. Pack of 3 for $15, can't go wrong. Only issue I had was a little lock stick on one, but I fixed that with a file, by removing a hair of material off the end of the lockface.
