You can buy smaller amounts as Zippo lighter fluid which is the same thing
Not sure where you're buying it, but Amazon has it for <$7 for 12 ounces... still more expensive than "naptha" in bulk, but you really don't want to try to pour naptha into a zippo lighter without a small squeeze spout... so it's really not that bad for the packaging you get.
