Some tips:
Having said that, it's definitely no a substitute for a heavy bag. It doesn't move around, and you really can't hit it with anywhere near full power without knocking it over (which will damage the plastic base).
It is, however, good for working on your technique and speed. I have a Century BOB and I find it very useful to practice technique and precision strikes as well as clinch move.

It's difficult with both eyes, without dept perception it wouldn't even be remotely possible, yet I've just tried and there's barely a difference apart from limited field of view.
