Jumping on the top post to say I've found tons of floral cardigans on Amazon, chic wish, Etsy and seriously just online in general. I wear floral a lot, it's not that hard to find something that will work.
Here are some examples
This first one comes in pink or blue

Honestly, it sounds like op is being difficult and picky. Pick something, anything, that fits what the bride asks for and won't ruin her day. Don't be that person, it's not that hard.
These are actually really close:
White around oversized sunglasses
The best part is, “customers who bought this item also bought”: floral kimono
If I find something I love at a good value (like this cardi!), I'll often buy it in a few colors. This lets me look cohesive without being samey, spread out the wear across the colors, and wear it with a bunch of different fits. I just also try not to wear it every day.
I think this is beautiful and perfect for black tie in my experience. :) I would skip the necklace as the lace is enough interest and just go with some nice earrings. I also would not go with a lace jacket for the same reason: a cropped cardigan or chiffon wrap if not too sheer would be less busy. Finally, I like the gold shoes with it, but if it's a bit cooler-toned in person silver would also be pretty. Nude or black would not be out of place either if you are trying to re-wear something.
If you search on Amazon this floral kimono is literally one of the first things that comes up. I'd say flowers are pretty crucial to tøp fans.
It's a shawl collared cardigan. I'm not sure why these are more popular for men but you could always just get a mens or boys one.
Here are a few I found specifically for women though.
360 Cashmere
Buffalo
Barefoot Dreams with an LOL worthy price tag
Pendleton
Aran Woolen Mills

I couldnt find something like the second one consider cross posting to r/femalefashionadvise as well.
Anyone know of any high quality 100% cotton, voluminous, detailed with braids or pompoms cardigans? Maybe something like this but cotton?
Thank you!!! Happy early Golden birthday to you!!! :) The jacket is really fun, I found it on Amazon:
ONIEZZFOIR Rainbow Sparkly Sequin Loose Cover Up Long Sleeve Open Front Cardigan Coat Dress for Women's Clubwear(Jacket,L) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JB9WQY9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Vpm2CbW0C3EK1
Yeah I spent the first several months topless at home. I went to Baby Wearing International meetings and learned how to nurse in a carrier. I also have a Covered Goods cover that's sooooooo soft but very much not-structured so unless you hold it on a certain way, it'll lay on your little one's face. I found it much easier to use though than the aprony ones. Especially since Baby delatched every 30 seconds in the beginning and needed help re-latching. I also got good at cradle /cross-cradle.
At home, I learned to side lay and bedshare and it got easier. I generally start in cradle first though.
I had bought a 2 pack of Target nursing bras and while they worked okay in the beginning with my huge boobs, they eventually made me look flat so now I only use the bra I got when early pregnant - Jockey T-shirt crop top bralette type bra.
I wear old stretchy tank tops from target, old dresses from Victoria Secret online that I can pull down, [these sweaters] (https://www.amazon.com/Free-Live-Cardigans-Charcoal-X-Large/dp/B00QXX7FX8/). I mainly nurse in my Ergo in public with the hood up. People don't even know that I'm nursing in it! I got my Ergo in a local Facebook mom swap group for $25.
There’s this one
This Cardigan, will help keep you from getting a chill. I've learned no matter where I am that I get cold, so something light helps keep that chill off.
Have fun in CO! I loved Denver and Boulder when I visited!!
Edit: Forgot the link...
I really think it would be easier just to get her a long dress with some sort of cover up, like a kimono. https://www.amazon.com/MixMatchy-Womens-Jersey-Sleeve-Cardigan/dp/B07MTQ8CDX/ref=sr_1_12?crid=3D4NQQB5GYK7A&keywords=purple+kimono+plus+size&qid=1564874927&s=apparel&sprefix=purple+kimono%2Cfashion%2C216&sr=1-12
I'm also sure that if you contacted Azazie they could get something in the Purple Regency specifically. They do have coverups. https://www.azazie.com/products/azazie-gina-chiffon-wrap?color=dark-navy
If she absolutely positively must have pants, I'd probably try for separates. Like, if she's plus, here are some plus-sized purple pants: https://www.amazon.com/Rekucci-Curvy-Comfort-Straight-Control/dp/B0773R2NR8/ref=sr_1_32?qid=1564874662&refinements=p_n_size_browse-vebin%3A2343360011&s=apparel&sr=1-32
Maybe with this as a topper: https://www.amazon.com/Rekucci-Womens-Rounded-Stretch-X-Large/dp/B06VVR32GB?ref_=w_bl_sl_ap_ap_web_9240391011
I don't know if those are the exact same purples or not, but they are from the same company, so there's at least a fighting chance. She could wear a white shirt with it.
I don’t have a real picture, but it was similar to this one on amazon .
I felt at the time like it was mostly scarf-like, but I’m not a very visual person so my perception could be way off.
This one is a lot better I think?
Also just looked at reviews and it is ENTIRELY 21p fans holy sheet.
They stopped selling the actual one at forever 21 a while back.
People tend to buy lookalikes instead.
Thanks and yeah ofc!
here it is :D
I wear a size 12 this time around but was sizes 18&22 before my last two pregnancies. I breastfed the prior two and plan to with this one as well. So, here's my current must haves. And I'm wearing one of each of them right now actually. :)
These bras are really comfy. I'm in a 36E so I have the XL, but they stretch really well so I'm positive I'll still have room when my milk comes in.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01C6M6VLQ/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_2_11?colid=2GFWXQP1PIE1U&coliid=IOQJNRUKGAFLQ&vs=1
I have these tanks in size L but totally could have gotten a medium. They come to about mid thigh on me (I'm 5'9") and the straps are stretchy enough that I'll be able to just pull the top down to nurse.
Four-Pack of Basic Spaghetti Strap Cami Cotton Tank Top (Small, Beige/Baby Pink/Heather Gray/Red) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KGJGRN8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_mjHlyb1KEMZ5X
I got these crossover cardigans in an XL and should have gotten a L or M instead. They're really flowy and very confortable, and will be perfect for a bit of coverage when nursing. They're a lighter t-shirt material. I plan to hunt down more of them in different colors.
Free to Live Women's Criss Cross Cardigans, Black/Charcoal/Navy, Large (Pack of 3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O5I1WHS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_PkHlyb6XJP13R
For the hospital, I bought a couple cheapo spaghetti strap nightgowns for the actual birth. For after, yoga pants and leggings and a couple stretchy tank tops. And I had a hoodie to wear home. I'm probably more casual than most in that regard though. And flip flops! My feet swelled up soooo much on day 2.
As I see you are breastfeeding, you will definitely want some nipple cream.
You may also want to get some leak protection. I like these because they are reusable!
A boppy or something similar (breastfeeding pillow) won’t hurt either!
These crossover tops are actually really cute, and are perfect to double as breastfeeding-friendly tops.
These are all awesome options and better than I could find! Bonus note: if you hover back and forth between the pictures on Amazon, you can make the lady dance.

That's the exact one that I have. It's asian sizing so it's a bit smaller than usual. So I would say go 1 or 2 up a size. I'm usually a Large/X Large (baggy) if ya need reference.
Way late, but Amazon and Etsy are my go to for that type of stuff. You can also search using the word ikat. It's the name of a type of pattern. This is in my shopping cart right now...
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T9MQ7MG/ref=cm_sw_r_other_taa_2WqCDb3ABFV76
Also if you live in a place that gets big art or cultural fairs, I found my favorite zip up sweater at one years ago. It's a Peruvian alpaca deal (that I can wear in place of a coat), but I cold natured person could use it as a cozy sweater. As we get closer to fall, it will get easier to find that stuff.
This isn’t the exact one, but similar. It was perfect for skin to skin and nursing/pumping even with others in the room. I got a size larger than I normally wear to make sure everything was covered. I loved it!
Also a pumping bra would have been a nice gift. I made one out of an old bra, but it would have been nice to receive one.
Other than that, we could have benefited from gift cards to restaurants or fast food. We spent so much time in the NICU for 33 days that we hardly ever ate at home. We would always grab food on the way home and it would have been nice to have more choices because of the help from gift cards.
Thank you for asking and thinking ahead for her. She will appreciate whatever you get!

I'd say that going for a (mostly) black outfit maybe your best shot at looking professional while also being able to mix in your personal style.
Regarding shirts, this black floaty top will certainly look smart when paired with something like a simple pencil skirt (which is petite too! and elasticated so it'll be comfortable to move around in)
I'd pair these with a pair of simple black or sheer pantyhose, a blazer in any style really, you can't go wrong with an all black outfit and some simple brogues. You can add further personal touches with your hair and jewellery.
If it was something a little more covered up this shirt is pretty good for that.
And to make it a little more casual a cardigan (1) (2) would be a good way to go.
And, lastly, for trousers, these look pretty good and as they are juniors they should fall a little shorter.
Obligatory, Working in my birthday suit and good luck! I hope you find something :)
I lived in Target nursing tanks and these tops: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O5I1WHS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Nhv4xbWH922TN
Oh, and duuhhhhhh, I can't believe I forgot to mention: CARDIGANS!
Honestly it's probably because I've basically been living in cardigans for the past 2-3 weeks so they feel like part of my body, haha.
My friend got me a 3-pack of basic flowy ones -- like these https://www.amazon.com/Free-Live-Cardigans-Charcoal-X-Large/dp/B00QXX7FX8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481411849&sr=8-1&keywords=cardigan+3+pack -- and they're great for warmth now that it's winter, plus they're long enough that they could probably double as a modesty cover if you were nursing out in public. I haven't tried that "function" out though.
Looking up "hoods" gives me stovetop hoods.
After searching for hooded cardigan, the closest one I found is this one. Visually, it looks too light and it lacks all the design details from OP's cardigan.
A couple of commenters up, they found what it probably is at H&M, also in forest green. Is that one not it?
This is the exact one! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07J1GXVDX?th=1&psc=1
I found this cardigan tunic with snaps, which looks fun because snaps are fun!
