So, uh... I just so happen to know that you can buy capsules of liquid blood. You just pop them in your mouth, bite down, and... blood. Mixes with your saliva to produce a whole lot more than you'd expect. Used them for a Halloween costume one year.
Use this knowledge as you wish. 😉
Oh really?
There's actually stuff that you can buy at most halloween shops that is designed specifically for this purpose. If you can't find it locally, you can find it at online such as here, here, and here.
I would NOT use anything like a Sharpie to do this. You want to be able to take it off at the end of the night.
How about this??

They are like this: https://www.amazon.com/Tamiya-Weathering-Master-titan-Set/dp/B0042VKAQW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=tamiya+pastel&qid=1562107181&s=gateway&sr=8-3
Awesome thanks!
I also picked up some stage blood for the vial

Its cheaper than calligraphy ink and is more viscous :D
Sara Glove Emergency Clear Rain Ponchos - Lightweight & Disposable Case of 200… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZLXCVJO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WzFvCb6G3P72N
this Is what you would use, its awesome. If you can get your hands on some, apply it liberaly to the prosthetic, face, neck and under your baldcap hairline(skin). Wait until is dries completely clear and is tacky to the touch and apply your prosthetic. This stuff should keep your prosthetic on all night.
For removal, get some bond off and a bunch of qtips. Go slow and gently and your face will thank you later.
PS> Apply a light coating of Vasaline to your eyebrows to save your eyebrows
I want to try my hand at weathering/detailing soon, and have two questions. What kind of paint do you use for dry brushing? The few tutorials on it I've read all go over how to dry brush, but don't specify what kind of paint to use. And what kind of detailing would you use the Tamiya Weathering Master F for? Would that be more for making gunpla look new and unused rather than beaten up and weathered?
I've made this before, really easy: http://www.instructables.com/id/No-Cook-Edible-Fake-Blood-for-mouth-wounds%2C-etc./
And totally safe to be in your mouth.
Edit: here is a premade solution in convenient capsules: https://www.amazon.com/Fun-World-Liquid-Blood-Capsules/dp/B00I5RIONK
here you go!
