No account required to access most content (presented with ads) plus your local CBC station (geo-located). Supply an email address and you get free access to live streams for 14 CBC stations across Canada. You don't have to pay anything for these options. An optional $4.99 monthly payment gets you legal access to CBC News Network.

You can stream Shudder through our website, Apple, mobile Android devices, Roku, FireTV, as well as through Amazon Prime Video and VRV Premium. If you sign up via our website, you may use your account on Apple, mobile Android devices, Roku, and on Xbox One.

However when you sign up for your account, you must do it through a computer/phone

It looks like it is a separate listing than the CW app that was in the store for tablets previously. https://amazon.com/The-CW-Network/dp/B01LXZLEMN I used that one and it listed as compatible with my Gen2 TV, but not with my Gen1 Stick.

If you have a Smart tv and an Iphone/Ipad, download IwebTV from the APP Store. From there, Open IwebTV go to NJW's site, click on video you want to watch, and it'll ask you what TV you want to connect to ... as easy as that. EDIT: works with Android too.

Canadian here. I had no issues installing CBC Gem. Maybe you are registered under a US account, or are you using a VPN?

Maybe installing direct from the website would work:

I don't know anything about it, but apparently it's only for Canadian users? Here is a link to the app in Amazon Canada's app store:

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0789RWQK1/

You'll probably have to use a VPN to make Amazon think you live in Canada if you don't.

You can probably force the update through the app store...

I use an Amazon FireTV stick and an old monitor with a pair of cheap PC speakers from Amazon. I have made a dumsterdivers Smart TV!

For like TV I use an app called TV Player https://www.amazon.com/TV-Player-TVPlayer/dp/B00G6H6BTA

If it's live on Freeview it will be live on the app.

The FireTV stick works well for Amazon, Netflix, iPlayer and other stuff I like to watch in my office while I'm at my PC.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K has Silk and Firefox browsers that I've used to stream direct from web site when app isn't available. Was able to browse tou.tv with Silk and played the ad for Le Monstre but then gave me the region lock message from USA but it should work for you though. App is also available (see link below). Don't know how close to the border you are but the device is on sale in the US for $40.

There's the direct link. If you have a fire tv, you should be able to push it to your device from the website.

If you still need the apk, let me know. I'm not home for another 2-3 hours though.

If you have an Iphone, i have been using an app called iWebTV .. you use their web browser, find the video/stream you want, and it will broadcast it to your tv ... as long as you have the iWebTV app on your tv as well.

I use a ROKU .. i'm not sure if they have it for chromecast.

This might not be helpful for you, but perhaps to some, it might.

EDIT: it is on Chromecast:

I don't use Sky Go myself, but as far as I can see, it's available in the Amazon App Store, so should be fairly easy to get it installed on your Fire Stick

Sky Go on the Amazon App Store

From that page, I think you can have it install on your Fire Stick, and I would guess that you then have to sign-in to your Sky account within the Sky Go app.

Good luck!

Fire Stick and tvplayer is pretty good for Live UK TV. You can also install Kodi and any other Live TV extensions (YMMV)
