I love posts like this, makes me smile.

Motherfucker has big hands, does he have arthritis? Nervous sweating? Dualshocks are a pain in the wrists for me, I use these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XQJPSZ2/ref=sspa_mw_detail_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1 on FPS games.

Here you go OP sweet find shell and Buttons

u/RadCapper88 · 8 pointsr/apexlegends

Ill just leave it here so everyone can see in case other people are interested :) This is the UK amazon link, but if you search EXtremeRate on the US amazon (if you’re based in the US) you’ll find the same thing.

As I said it is DIY - but it really isn’t hard. There are plenty of tutorial videos on YouTube. I competed mine in like 30 mins.

I got one right when Apex came out. It does take sometime to get used to (muscle memory wise). But I can’t play without it now. Even in games that aren’t Apex.

Are you on PS4?
eXtremeRate Dawn Programable Remap Kit for PS4 Controller with Mod Chip & Redesigned Back Shell & 4 Back Buttons - Compatible with JDM 040/050/055 - Textured Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q2SJQX4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_api2DbET3S9VX
This item is better imo. 4 programable buttons and still get wireless

u/its_a_SEABEAR · 4 pointsr/PS4

I bought this kit off amazon that turned your controller into a “pro” controller, comes with a shell and 4 rear buttons that take some getting used but but are extremely nice to use once you do, and it was only 35 bucks. I absolutely love it. The one caveat is it’s cheap because you have to put it together yourself, but it’s very simple and doesn’t require soldering as long as you don’t want to remap the touch pad or l3/r3, which I don’t ever see a need for personally, so I didn’t.

I use that and the kontrolfreek raised thumb sticks, and it’s better than any 200 dollar controller in my opinion, because it has the comfort and reliability of the regular ds4

u/VonGunCat · 3 pointsr/bloodborne

Sure! I got Eileen for mine. If you want I can send a pic after I get home from work so you can check quality.

u/GyariSan · 2 pointsr/xboxone

You can see if there is something like this for the Xbox One controller:

https://www.destructoid.com/review-playbudz-grip-extenders-487007.phtml

I bought it for a 6'6 friend of mine who plays on the PlayStation. What he did was he wrapped his DS4 with two layers of Silicone case (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Controller-DualShock-Anti-Slip-Protector-playstation-4/dp/B06XQB6C6Q or https://www.amazon.com/YoRHa-Silicone-Dualshock-Controller-PlayStation-4/dp/B06XT116CK/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=ds4%2Bsilicone%2Bcase&qid=1571360580&sr=8-6&th=1) , then whack on one of these extenders and it became much more comfortable fit for him.

Warning though that your controller will look like Frankenstein lol.

u/Sleepinismy9to5 · 2 pointsr/lego

It is a sticker. I love it. here you go

u/Cax6ton · 2 pointsr/ApexConsole

There are mod kits that are a lot cheaper if you can do a little DIY. This one didn't require soldering and I like it a lot. You can buy the kit and a used controller for less than the cost of a scuf or any of the other elite customs. eXtremeRate-Programable-Controller

u/rjames24000 · 2 pointsr/apexuniversity

I installed one of these in my controller and my movement significantly improved from it, its the cheapest way to add paddles to your stock PS4 controller without soldering https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q2SJQX4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WgrtDbSXCRV9T

Here’s the thing I was speaking about

Controller scuf like button kit

u/attacklibrarian · 2 pointsr/PS4

I bought this skin last July with the console skin, and I haven't had any trouble. Yes, it was a little tedious to put on, but if I remember correctly, there's a link to a video showing you the best techniques.

EDIT: for clarity, I haven't had any trouble with durability , peeling, or anything for that matter. I did kind of mess up applying the part around the buttons, making the square button stick (misaligned), but that was my fault. I easily fixed it with an x acto knife.

https://collectiveminds.ca/shop/playstation/ps4/ps4-strikepack-f-p-s-dominator-paddles-alternate/

This is PS4 though I'm not sure about Xbox

I liked the strikepack but I got annoyed about not being able to play wirelessly so I bought and installed this myself:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RGNP4W3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

but since then I moved to KBM on PC

u/StickmanSham · 1 pointr/KingdomHearts

I wouldn't do that if I were you, because its essentially replacing a game with vanity. Just get a KH skin for a stock PS4, something like this

u/InvaderJ · 1 pointr/CruciblePlaybook
  • Riding the Kontrol Freeks suggestion…I would start with a pair of the CQCx pads. They're mid-rise, convex, and grippy, giving you a much wider + uniform surface compared to the PS4 pads. These will be much more forgiving than the PS4 pads when it comes to fine motor control.
    http://www.kontrolfreek.com/thumbsticks/fps-freek-cqcx.html
(EDIT: What I mean specifically is, because of the width and super grippy-ness, your thumb can be/can float almost anywhere on the pad, even at the edge, even with a tiny amount of force, and you will still maintain superb control!)

  • Definitely reduce your sensitivity. Drop down to 4 and play it for at least a week.

  • Lastly, you might want to look at SquidGrips. They are very grippy covers for the PS4 controller. You'll find you can relax your grip a bit using these, plus there's the added benefit of making the controller overall a bit larger in-hand.
    http://www.amazon.com/SquidGrip-Controllers-controller-included-playstation-4/dp/B00KVKDNY4

Hopefully these and the other suggestions here help get you more comfortable in blasting faces off! :)

If anyone was wondering what dustcover I got I found it here on amazon!

u/Fuster_Duck · 1 pointr/PS4

Got my since December 25 2013 and now I know why I my console sounds like a Jet engine. Welp time for me to buy the set and [this.] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L3KU0S8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_2&smid=A9WZSUM5PXSDK)

Also are there any useful screwdriver bits I can find like the one you have?

Edit: Grammar

Here is what I use: YoRHa Silicone Half Extra Thick Cover Skin Case for Sony PS4/slim/Pro Dualshock 4 Controller x 1(Black) With Pro Thumb Grips x 8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XT116CK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_M810DbT6DWJTN

u/phoebus0000 · 1 pointr/PS4

I had the same issue. Initially, I was using tons of compressed air. Found this here I've been using it for a couple weeks. No more dust :)

u/Infrah · 1 pointr/controllerporn

I looked into custom modded controllers because I didn't have enough money for a SCUF, but I was able to practically make my own using some parts that can be found on Amazon. I put them together into a semi-modded PS4 controller. The parts I used are listed below (non-affiliate links):

  1. eXtremeRate Dawn Remap Kit
  2. Aluminum Metal Bullet + ABXY + Joysticks Kit

I haven't actually used this but I have heard good things about it.

Cheap and BEST solution to your problem. Just got to cut it to fit the impact since it's for orginal controller. The scuf military grip sucks don't get it!

u/CaptainBritish · 1 pointr/PS4

This looks pretty similar.

u/kronicle_gaming · 1 pointr/PS4

For anyone looking for where to get one of these, this is all I could find. But it is the same skin for the OG PS4

u/Soltanus · 1 pointr/DestinyTheGame

How well do PS4 vinyl skins work? I've been thinking of buying this one. And yes, I understand the irony of putting made in the USA on a Sony product. But it looks cool.

u/darth74 · 1 pointr/PSVR

I hear that but maybe this will work

eXtremeRate Professional Textured Soft Rubber Handle Grips for PlayStation 4 PS4 Slim/ PS4 Pro Controller - Improve the Grip and Comfort https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MU7G3FZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_U2RSAb1WCE6DX

u/StawhpIT · 1 pointr/PS4

So what I did for my controllers was buy any of [these] (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=metal+ps4+thumbstick&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Ametal+ps4+thumbstick)

After getting those on I got grips

Finally if you get sweaty hands while playing like a lot of people I HIGHLY recommend [squid grip] (http://www.amazon.com/SquidGrip-Controllers-controller-included-playstation-4/dp/B00KVKDNY4/ref=sr_1_1_twi_3?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1421194990&sr=1-1&keywords=squid+grip)

If you opt for the squid grip make sure you wipe your controller down with iso alcohol so theres no grease or crap on it when you apply the grips and read the damn instructions.

u/pbanj_ · 1 pointr/PS4

There is this one that is pretty much a drop in solution. Just solder up the internal buttons to the remap board. https://www.amazon.com/eXtremeRate-Programable-Controller-Redesigned-PlayStation-4/dp/B07Q2SJQX4

They have a website that has more stuff on it https://extremerate.com/

Then there is this one which is what I have https://arsenalmod.com/collections/ps4/products/arsenal-s4-slim-clip-board-install-kit-ps4-slim-programmable-remapping this one requires a bit of soldering but only to the remap board and not to the actual controller, you also have to drill the bottom shell. I've seen people order scuff paddles from eBay and use them with this one but I opted to just use the buttons as everyone I know that's bought a scuff controller has had the paddles break on them(among other issues).

The soldering on both these is very basic and is actually a pretty decent thing for someone's first project.

There is also these but you can't remap on the fly. It's more of an honorable mention lol. https://thecontrollerpeople.com/shop/tcp-classic-mod-kit

u/Savage-Sense · 1 pointr/PS4

The cheap option is the extremerate dawn reprogrammable kit. It’s a diy kit that replaces the rear shell of the ds4 giving you 4 buttons on the back.

u/RahulRulz · 0 pointsr/hometheater

I am going to remove that soon as I am getting these for all my consoles: http://amzn.com/B00L3KU0S8

Git gud

ALSO I got this a while back and I'm pretty happy. 3.3 kd in blackout with 700 wins, I don't play multi.
