KAW KAW I HAVE 530 OF THE FILTHY MUDMEN EN ROUTE COOOO!!!!!!!!
I'm not the OP, but have you considered a flat back hanging mannequin (example)? I used to have one (sold it when I got out of selling online for awhile) and they can be found on eBay for a decent price. They are quite easy to dress and you can use clothes pins if something is too big for the mannequin.
I bought her about a month ago. Greatly improved my pics and I'm thinking about getting one for plus sized items. My only issue is that her description says it fits items sized 5-10 but honestly, I have to pin sized M clothing or it looks like she's swimming in them. But overall I'm very happy.
Yeah. The clothing that I sell most are the ones on the mannequin. I use one like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0040YSPO0.
It really does look better than hanging or laying flat.
I wasn't the first person with the idea, but I started out with the wooden one I showed you. After realizing that a lot of other sellers were using it, I switched to a damask pattern. There are a ton of patterns to choose from.
Do you mean the kind that is empty in the back? I've seen them on Amazon. I have one but hate it. As soon as my sales pick back up (thanks election), I'm going to get a male version of the link I posted.

Paper cutter.
Picked one up for a few dollars at a yard sale. I use it to cut up cardboard. If I have something light that can ship first class but semi fragile like an action figure or a $20-40 fishing reel I will cut up a strip of cardboard and wrap it around the item then throw it in a bubble mailer. I could use scissors or just rip the cardboard but there's less waste and faster with a paper cutter.
Rubbing alcohol for getting ink off items, just be careful with certain items as it can fade labels
Spaghetti strainer. Good for rinsing legos. Picked up a metal one at a yard sale as well for $1
Lingerie garment bag, good for also washing stuff like legos in a washing machine
Torso mannequins(I think I got a better deal than this on ebay, under $40 for this set)

Styrofoam head for modeling hats. A few bucks on ebay.
Oh that's gorgeous! Looks eminently makeable at home, too. I've made ponies for me and my friend, and this looks basically like a miniature pony mounted on one of those pivot clamps they use in hairdressing schools. I might have to try that sometime!

In case you didn't know, you can get a torso form for really cheap on amazon. Makes it a lot easier to take good pictures of torso armor.
You could always just get a plain plastic mannequin and paint it with chalkboard paint or whiteboard paint.
You can also get custom temporary tattoos so you can test your image out on yourself before getting it done permanently.
