Sorry to hear that, we have to be seriously careful being trans. To lose weight I've been doing daily hikes/walks and have been wearing tights (I have both a cute blue pair and a grey pair, along with some cute light blue/light pink accented walking shoes, just got some these pink yoga/running shorts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RWN1YRN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). I tuck to hide having a bulge, I find that very unsightly.

Anyways its not all guys, but there are certainly some sketch looking guys as I walk around my beach side town. Being somewhat androgynous (even though I'm pre everything, I think I pull off andro somewhat) and wearing somewhat female attire, those guys certainly can freak me out. Specially some of the guys that have bulked up their body, can make me nervous.

I live in a fairly liberal town, but we are also a big tourist town, so summer can bring in all types of people. So be careful out there all us trans males/females/non-binary. Not all the world is ready for us trans that are out of the norm of two binary genders.

These are my favorite leggings, apparently they're technically yoga pants, which I guess is what I like about them. They're structured and opaque which is what I want since I'm a legging-as-pants sort of girl. Also I've had them a year and a half and they're still doing great.

My favorite tunic is from Eileen Fisher, I don't see it on their site right now but it's similar to this but longer and with a slightly higher neckline, and it's got a thick inner layer with a thin outer one. I got it for $10 from VV and it's my favorite thing I own right now. Trying to scope out some others to add to my rotation because it makes me sad to wash it because then I have to stop wearing it.

They help with immediate symptoms! By reducing blood pooling in my legs and feet my standing stamina gets better and my legs generally feel much lighter and less uncomfortable even if I’m just sitting around the house. Thigh or waist high ones are recommended but I can tell a big difference with knee-high ones, and there are tons available because people also wear them for sports (sports compression leggings and compression leggings in general from Amazon are also 100% worth it)

edit: These are my favorite compression leggings (they have pockets!!)

Depending on what you're looking for (I know that Lu La Roe has a lot of crazy patterns, right?), I'd recommend 90 degrees by reflex from Amazon. I have the yoga pants which are basically long leggings, nice thickness. I am 5'8", size 10 and I have a M that goes all the way past my ankles. I have other leggings by them that are shorter that I use mostly for working out.

u/justcallmecoco · 5 pointsr/xxfitness

i swear by the reflex 90 degree yoga pants! the come in a high waist style which I LOVE! Can be found at TJMaxx but also on amazon.. http://www.amazon.com/90-Degree-Reflex-Shine-Capri/dp/B00TKM4LPY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452213203&sr=8-1&keywords=reflex+90+degree+capri

This Witkey legging is the one I bought, in the killer whales print. And thank you!

u/tsquaredwsu · 3 pointsr/July2019Bumpers

I love Lululemon leggings, but I’m trying to cut costs, so these 90 Degree by Reflex ones are getting the job done. I still prefer Lulus, but these work!

u/cdizzy122 · 3 pointsr/sissyfitness

I generally only wear leggings to the gym these days. I love these because they have the side pocket for my phone and they feel great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KMKK57W

Also I've been wearing tank tops occasionally.

u/blahblahbecca98 · 3 pointsr/fitpregnancy

Yeah! I love them. Prior to pregnancy I always got the high waisted version. But they were t comfortable for me after because of being so freaking short. I’ll see if I can find the link on Amazon because there was one style that wasn’t squat proof.

Edit: this is the style I always get

There are full length options as well and a ton of colors.

u/meriendaselgato · 2 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I'm 5'2" and I really like these from Baleaf. I don't recommend the charcoal color because it is cottony and a completely different fabric from the solid colors, but I have them in black and they are great. Definitely squat proof. I haven't measured the rise but they come up pretty darn high. They are a hair long but it's not problematic for me, as someone who wears anywhere from 26-28" in jeans.

I also own 90 Degree by Reflex and while I like them for some purposes, they are certainly not squat proof in my experience (and it's not an issue of them being too small).

I've found RBX thermal leggings at TJ Maxx before

They only go up to XXXL but I love these running pants. They have pockets on both legs.

I generally get the "reflex by 90 degrees" tights off Amazon. They are like $10/pair and great There are two different kinds, one comes in patterns the other is solid colors, slight more expensive but breathes a little better. I get my leotards from discountdance and Gkelite. The discount dance ones are cheaper but slightly thicker material. The gkelite ones fit me a little better, breathe better and don't cause leotard butt but are more expensive and slightly thinner material.

I just bought these and I am obsessed. They are so comfortable, and they have ones with mesh too. TJ Maxx has a bunch of these brand right now, actually.

FUNANI High Waist Yoga Pants with... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QTGNT41?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I’m usually not this cocky, but you’re welcome.

I went on a mission and tried about 20 different pairs and these win by far. I bought like 7 pairs because I don’t even want to wear other leggings ever. They also have pockets.

I bought these I'm 2017 and they're my favorite pair I own. The pockets are super deep and the material is very thick and stretchy.

u/CandiceIrae · 2 pointsr/CampingGear

It depends on how hot you personally run. I'd look into getting a pair of fuzzy flannel gloves and a hot water bottle. Even a Nalgene bottle, if filled with hot water and shoved into your hoody, can make cold weather much more pleasant.

I typically wear fleece-lined leggings like these under my usual hiking pants when it's cold out. They're not wool and won't keep you warm if you get wet, but if you're just chilling at camp, it shouldn't be an issue.

My girlfriend is 6'1" and wears and works out in in leggings she gets from Amazon called baleaf..

Here is the direct link from her Amazon account

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01GFEKHSY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_pd_title

They don't pill, are not see through and she has had this pair since 2017 and she wears em all the time.

I haven't tried them yet, bit I've seen [these](http://www.CRZ.com/ YOGA Women's Naked Feeling I High Waist Tight Yoga Pants Workout Leggings-25 Inches True Navy 25'' - R009 S(4-6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N2WSJJ3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_HN7NDb2WX3SZY) crop up in r/fitpregnancy as a dupe to Lulu's align legging.

u/KnowTheDifference · 1 pointr/PlusSize

If you have Prime, I really like these from a company called Dear Sparkle.

From my experience, their products are true to size.

u/GGLVCEL · 1 pointr/RepLadies

If you like the align leggings, there’s a dupe for them on amazon. W2C. They’re not the same material as the aligns (I’m pretty sure I read LuluLemon patented that material) but they’re pretty close. I wear them to work instead of my aligns so I don’t ruin them as quick. For reference, I’m usually a size 4 in LLL normal leggings and a 2 in their aligns, I get these in an XSmall

u/BarbellCappuccino · 1 pointr/xxfitness

My favorite leggings are the Colorful Koala Pattern Leggings (leopard prints dropping tonight on their website!) and also their 7/8th Pocket Leggings (any other legging is a different material from them, these two styles are the same though).

Not really too sure how they compare to VS though, since I've only ever looked at those in store and never owed a pair.

u/earlyviolet · 1 pointr/CrohnsDisease

I own an absurdly large number of pairs of these leggings. Thicker than tights, but they don't have that tight band that squeezes just where you hurt. It's a nice, smooth elastic panel that I can pull almost all the way up to my ribs. I love them:

u/RyerOrdStar · 1 pointr/xxfitness

I have a different model of Baleaf and I love them too, I need more pairs! Feel like the sizing was true to the chart.
