For those interested you can buy a trainer (dull) Balisong/Butterfly knife from amazon for about 13$ I bought this one here and have been learning to use it while at my desk. Very fun but it certainly takes some patients and learning.

Wow, huge URL, sorry.... but anyway that's the 3 books in one, or you can get the individual books as I suspect this one is abridged. Read the chronicles twice but on reading the individual books I feel there were moments not contained in the all in one, even though I want to say it claims to be unabridged. Kwan Sai Hung, the protagonist will stick with you... As will Grandmaster and Hua mountain in general... A truly luscious read.

If you're not American or English isn't your first language, this would be a good time to point it out so these pedants shut up 'cos this is downright silly. Like sure nobody says "magnesia" here but people thinking chalk and magnesium are never one thing happen to be completely wrong

Get a bunch of them together. Bet $500 each you can prove it. Buy one of these and a GoPro. Send it up. Profit.

You could just get one of these to be safe, although they are a little pricey.

Morbid, but interesting read about every death in the Grand Canyon. It's a lot. Over the Edge: Death in Grand Canyon

Edit: ~12 per year (700ish total and counting)

Dude, get a sink daisy to prevent it from happening again. Also keeps silverware from falling in. Haven't found anything better in 20 years.

Most of the knives you use to practice and do these kind of things aren't sharp. Well the length of the blade isn't, but there still tends to be points even on the dull ones sold.

In fact, a lot of the time you use a replacement piece where the blade should be. Example

In this piece the guy literally catches the knife by the blade at one point.
