Here's the deal.
I've seen your posts around the Wichita and depression subreddits. I remember because whenever I see you post you sound pretty similar to me. I've been depressed for several years, gotten down to just a couple friends, socially anxious, etc. Recently I've been taking really good care of these problems, though. I've started seeing a therapist, reading a few EXCELLENT books (take a look at this one and this one. They're life changers) and putting all this help to work in my life.
I didn't think I would, but I have noticed subtle changes happening in my life. It's taken a few months, but it feels like I'm finally on my way to being more or less "normal", or at least not having to worry about my depression or freaking out when I am in a social situation. In my classes and at work (I'm a sophomore at WSU) I have been starting to talk to more people and have been able to hold pleasant conversations for at least a few minutes. I've even gotten a couple people's numbers, which for me is a fucking milestone.
Ditch the negative attitude. How you live is fleshed out by how you're thinking about life in general. Seriously, give those two books a chance and read them cover to cover. They will help you out, I promise. Consider even seeing a therapist. PM me if you'd like the number of my guy, he's very nice and easy to talk to, has a great way of putting things into perspective and is introverted like me, which I'm guessing you are as well. It's not going to be easy, and is going to take some serious self-reflection, but the earlier you start the sooner you will be able to be happy with your life. Good luck.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, seeing a therapist should be first on your list of priorities. If you have the money, do it. Having someone there to help you (and a professional at what they do, at that) will help you much more than reading a book on your own could.
Spy Tec G1WH. Capable of wide angle, and 1080p/30fps recording. The way it works is that it records in 5 minute blocks - once it runs out of room in the memory card, it overwrites the oldest block. The caveat is that it doesn't play well with Class 10 micro sd cards, so I use a 32GB Class 6. I believe I have an 8-10 hour window of current 1080p footage, which should be more than sufficient.
I also purchased a dashcam hard-wire kit, in conjunction with an add-a-fuse kit. It might sound daunting to a layman, but it was actually incredibly simple to wire up. With it, the dashcam turns on when I turn the car on (I wired it in to the car stereo), and turns off when I turn the car off. This was necessary for me because one alternative, using a power adapter plugged into the cigarette lighter, wouldn't work due to my cigarette lighter always being powered, even when the truck is turned off. Also, my install is clean as hell - the only things visible are the cam itself, and about four inches of power wire running up to the headliner.
Here are the specific items I purchased, on Amazon:
Dashcam, $53 Prime

Hardwire kit, $15 shipped

Add-A-Fuse, $11 Prime

Rearview mirror mount, $9 Prime

Class 6 32GB MicroSDHC + adapter if you don't already have one, $16 Prime
www.amazon.com/dp/B00IVPU7DQ
Running total for everything above, to your door, about $105. Install takes about ten-fifteen minutes by yourself. You can probably get a local shop to do it if you prefer, for a cost. Hell, I'd even lend a hand if you wanted, so long as you promise you aren't a total fucking weirdo.
Edit to answer your second question: Yeah, I like it. For $100, it's probably the best quality you'll find. With it installed, I often forget it's even there; it's tucked away behind my mirror. The peace of mind that it adds, should I ever need it myself, is great. Also, catching stuff like what's in the video is a huge bonus!
Dunno about locally, but you can get it from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Link-Cable-Game-Boy-Advance-Gamecube/dp/B0000E5U6M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348076137&sr=8-1&keywords=Game+boy+GameCube+cable
(Be sure to order the $8.88 one with fulfillment by Amazon!)
If you have Prime, you can get it on Friday for free, or tomorrow for $4. You can start a free Amazon Prime trial to get it on time.
If you're looking for a replacement, try this one. I love mine and they'd need a power tool to get through it. That and another favorite will get you to free shipping and give you complete security, short of power tools.
You can loop the chain through both tires, around your frame and around a tree/pole/whatever easily with these. When riding, you can wear the loop over your shoulder with both ends locked.
I've been sharpening all my knives for years. It's pretty easy, especially if they're still a little sharp. If you want to do it yourself, I'd recommend a Lansky kit. A basic one costs about $25 on amazon. Watch a few youtube videos to learn the technique, it's not too difficult.
I'm on the Northeast side as well (pretty much directly east of Old Town), and I get great reception. I'm using this antenna, pointed west, with this amplifier attached. I'm able to get all the major networks (with the exception of MyNetwork TV, and who cares about MyNetwork TV?), plus a handful of smaller channels.
I can second GPA. I've met a couple of their instructors. It's good training at a good price.

If you want to get your feet wet, this book will be indispensable during flight school.

It would also be worth your while to find and fix the drafts you mentioned, inexpensively and without any permanent modifications to the property.
Outlet/switch insulators are cheap, easy to install, and effective.
If you feel cold air from the gaps between the wall and your window/door trim, stuff backer rod in the gaps. (It's similar to rolls of self-stick foam watherstripping, but doesn't have the "sticky". You can also cut it in half/quarter for smaller gaps.)
If the windows are drafty, install heat-shrink film kits on any you won't need to open (or adjust blinds on) over the winter. For windows you may need to open or that have thick blinds, use butyl "cord" weatherstripping. Squish it into the edges/corners of window frames/panes/etc. It's removable and is available in multiple colors.
(Source: I live in a 100+ year old house, with zero wall insulation and drafty original windows.)
I don't use anything special. I use some Shure microphones (I bought a 3 pack a year back or so) https://www.amazon.com/Shure-PGA48-XLR-Cardioid-Dynamic-Microphone/dp/B00TTQM8Z6/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=Shure+Microphones+3+pack&qid=1569246081&sr=8-4 < something like those.
For skype stuff, I use a USB mic. https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATR2100-USB-Cardioid-Dynamic-Microphone/dp/B004QJOZS4/ref=sxin_1_osp35-8ce148e3_cov?ascsubtag=8ce148e3-5ebb-4c1d-9f94-1ba05028bef0&creativeASIN=B004QJOZS4&cv_ct_id=amzn1.osp.8ce148e3-5ebb-4c1d-9f94-1ba05028bef0&cv_ct_pg=search&cv_ct_wn=osp-search&keywords=atr2100&linkCode=oas&pd_rd_i=B004QJOZS4&pd_rd_r=db4066b9-f8dd-49a9-82f1-1c6d55862ebf&pd_rd_w=FWLYN&pd_rd_wg=sPG81&pf_rd_p=53eff971-6e12-4016-9864-b6dfd929b2b3&pf_rd_r=0GRVNP7YM2EJ7KJ58HMB&qid=1569246230&tag=heavy0013-20

You can buy them straight from amazon or if you know someone who works for a school, they can order them through their food service (by the case)

I've had this modem for about 5 or so years and never had an issue.
Surboards are generally good but with the speeds you have stop looking at 16x4/32x8. That's so excessive, a huge waste of money, and you just are not going to benefit from it for your service. You need to look at 8x4 like mine which arris does have.
The ones you are looking at cost twice as much as the an 8x4 which won't be "just doing the job". You aren't skimping by getting a cheaper or shittier version. It's made to handle the services you have and more than 3x that.
