Just to piggyback on /u/bigfatfun ‘s post, the hose fitting going into the oil filter housing should be replaced while you’re there. It’s plastic, it’s brittle, and it’s not a matter of if it will break, but when. I barely bumped it while installing inlets and it broke and dumped over a gallon of coolant all over me, my tools and the garage floor before I could plug it.
This aluminum replacement from Amazon worked very well for me. It’s $14 and I got Prime one-day shipping.
The existing hose clamp must be cut off since there is no way to loosen it. It’s tough as hell, but take your time with a pair of dykes and tin snips and you’ll get there.
Also, order a spare bleeder screw for your expansion tank. They are plastic as well because fuck you. Brass upgrades are $7.50 on Amazon.
